Quater-finals and Semi-finals

We passed the quarterfinals with luck man!

Well, our costume kinda made the dance look way ugly (Sabahans made the costumes for us by the way!) so the judge Peter Ong didn’t really like the dance but lucky us the other group which is the Dancing Queens and 247 did badly too so it was a battle between us and them. Thankfully, our marks were higher! Woohoo!

So the very next day was the semi-finals and of course typical Funky Socks did everything last minute. We started choreographing on Friday night and finished it at 3 am the next day. Best thing was we were all sick. Great eh…

So on Sunday, the semi-finals we did a Latin number and I thought we did a very bad job but lucky us the judges loved it. I don’t know why! They are so unpredictable. I really don’t know what they are looking for man. Plus our costume was way prettier! Bla bla bla and we got to the grand finals!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!

Sad thing, the Sabahans didn’t make it to the grand finals…. Stupid judges! They’re freakin’ good ok! Baaaaah!

Challenge No. 3

We passed the second challenge. Halellujah!!!

The next challenge is much tougher. We had to combine with a group from Sabah with 2 girls and 2 guys in it. They were one of the Sunday’s group and they used the same props as us. Haha! That’s what I call fate. The Rexona people told us they’re one of the best groups in the competition so pressure pressure. We’re starting our practices soon. If we get through this, we’ll be one-step away from being the champion. Boohoo…

I am so busy right now. I started studying in a university and it sucks! The seniors treat us like dogs and there’s a lot of compulsory shits we have to do. Busy busy…
