Away from Home

Sorry for the late update…

I barely see my computer now since I’ve moved out of my house.

Don’t be shock; it’s only for 40 days.

And don’t worry, I did not run away from home. I love my family…

My sister gave birth to a baby girl. So mam wants her to stay with her for at least 40 days. Of course, I jadi mangsa..

Where else can she, the husband and the baby stay other than my room. So poor me had to clean my very-the-messy room and move out.

Dragged Joanna and Yau Chuan along to clean it. They were frowning the whole time. Hahaha..

Joanna: Mahani, do you want this? *shows me an old dusty book*
Mahani: Oh my god, I’ve been looking everywhere for it…

Yau Chuan: *opens a green file* Holy shit.. this file is full of the Spice Girls’ poster!
Yau Chuan and Joanna: Gila kantoi!!!!

Mahani: leave me alone.. I was a happy little kid who happens to be the no. 1 fan of the Spice Girls.
Yau Chuan and Joanna: hahahahahahahhaha….
Mahani: give me that!

After all that torture, my room was sparkling clean. Sob sob….

I’m staying in Joanna’s house now. It’s alright. I’m not a stay-away-from-home type of person. I get really home sick. But I do come back once in a while.

Favourite past time in Joanna’s house: Sex and the City dvd marathon.

I’m going to Penang this weekend. When I come back, I’ll post all about it. The ups and downs. Oh and.. new pictures of my little niece!! Woohoo!!

Yes.. I, Mahani Izzati Suleiman listens to *some* Malay songs. And this group of jiwang Indonesians (Dewa) wrote this sad little song called Pupus.

It’s a nice song… but it makes me feel sad listening to it…

Me and My Dance

I’m tired...

No.. let me rephrase…

I’m exhausted!

For the past few weeks, I’ve been doing dance shows with Switch almost twice a week. My finals are coming and assignments bombed (still bombing) like World War II. Plus, I had to choreograph 2 new dance routines for the Funky Socks. We have a show in Penang end of this month.

My life is like… wake up in the morning, go to class, after class rush to Cheras for rehearsal, after rehearsal go have dinner with Joanna, come home around 2 a.m., do assignment then sleep. On weekends, go out with Joanna for costume hunting for Funky Socks or go KL for show.

It goes on and on…

Baaaaaah!

My toe hurts, my ankle hurts, my knee hurts, my ass hurts, my back hurts, my elbow hurts, my jaw hurts (I’ve got a weird lump on my jaw. It hurts if pressed), my eye hurts, my head hurts.

The skin on my face and my black hair will die by the amount of make up and hair spray I put on every show.
