Mad Man with a Bloody Towel
The Montreal SPCA is trying to find out who snipped off parts of a kitten's ears and tail before the tortured feline was dumped on the shelter's doorstep yesterday. The workers discovered a mewling 5-month-old cat wrapped in a towel after a man ran into the shelter mumbled incoherently about "a bloody towel outside," then ran away. Strangely, the towel appeared clean on the outside but the man's clothes were splattered with blood. The kitten had the tips of both ears sheared off, a piece of its tail snipped and its front claws chopped to the skin, which was bleeding. The Montreal SPCA named the kitten Lucky.
I'm very disturbed. This is extreme cruelty. How could a man torture an animal like that? Worse, a kitten. Is he mad?? This kitten has an open wound on either side of its head. And it cannot stand. It can't even stand! This is madness. I never knew human could be that cruel. I'm speechless. My disappointment will not change anything neither turn back time. I'm helpless.
