10 Things I Hate About This Year's Raya

This year’s Raya was the worst Raya ever!

1. It’s in the middle of a stupid exam called SPM!
2. My mam only bought ONE baju Raya for me!
3. I spent my first Hari Raya sleeping disorientedly with babies crying and people watching the t.v. so loud as if their deaf!
4. I went beraya at my relatives’ house and none gave me duit Raya although they know I’m still schooling!
5. We had to travel from KL to Batu Pahat to Kluang, sleep one night then drive down to Johor Bahru then go back up to Batu Pahat then go back to Kluang and on the same day, we went back to KL!
6. All that traveling made me puke 6 times at the side of the highway on the way back home.
7. I didn’t even get a chance to drive! So much for long-distant driving experience!
8. My dad seems to appreciate Malay songs all of the sudden so all that traveling begins with 107.1 Xfresh.FM, local music only! Damn it was torture!
9. I dropped my purse in front of my relative’s house in Batu Pahat and I only realized that I lost it in Kluang! Thank god for good and honest people. They gave it back. Eventually, we had to travel back to Batu Pahat to claim it.
10. I look like shit most of the time. Fantastic!
